Mutualism in South Brunswick

Mutualism
This is an example of mutualism.
The poison ivy benefits because
the tree provides it a place to live.
The tree benefits because the
poison ivy keeps  insects or
birds from eating at it or
pecking its bark.

Abiotic and Biotic Limiting Factors

   Biotic Limiting Factor
This tree is a biotic limiting
factor. It has wide roots so it
soaks up all the water from the
other plants under trying to
survive. It also blocks
the sunlight from surrounding
plants causing none to survive.
This tree provides a home to
squirrels and other furry creatures.

   Abiotic Limiting Factor
When these clouds rain, they
provide a drink for plants.
If these clouds rain too much
then they can drown the
 plants. This cloud also is
blocking the sun. If it stays
there too long then it shuts
out the sunlight for the
plants on the ground.
